PSAC Worries About Pensions

The largest Federal union in Ottawa is telling Finance Minister Jim Flaherty to keep his "hands off our pensions."

Flaherty has hinted his spring budget could include reforms to public sector pensions.

But the Public Service Alliance of Canada says the Federal Government should not reduce the deficit on the backs of public service workers.

PSAC President John Gordon says Flaherty has promised him that if public servants committed to paying 40 per cent of the yearly contribution rates for their pensions, the government wouldn't be looking for more savings from the plan.

PSAC recommends the government should strengthen retirement security for all rather than weaken public service pensions.

为啥只保护 Public sector 人的权益，private Sector那？ 养人的人没有权益保障，被养的人确是振振有词。
