去年新换的窗户边的墙上出现裂缝

二楼一间bedroom，去年6月换了窗户，一月份时发现窗的左下角边的墙上出现了一条裂缝，并且有增长的趋势。我现在怀疑是不是当时换窗的时候，没换好，到了冬天，比较干燥，所以旁边支撑的东西变形了，造成裂缝。从外面看，看不出有什么问题。今天，打了电话给这家公司，他们说窗户是有warranty，但墙不保。我想，如果是安装的时候照成的，难道也不保吗？
另外，想问问村友，会是什么原因，如何修这个？谢谢。

I dont think its window installation problem.

looks like it happened on the second floor. If the frame of the window has been partially replaced, it will take time to settle down when cracks happen. Wait for several more months and see if the crack expands. If not, then you can patch it up.

Window frame is much stronger than the wall frame. It's impossible to see cracks around windows (localized cracks as you said). Cracks always start from four corners of the window and spread to the rest of the wall. I would say give a little bit time to see if it's getting worse.

我也不清楚，是前任屋主换的，我刚搬进去几个月。我打了电话给换窗户的公司，如果他们能来的话，我会问问他们有没有reframe。
有个同事建议我把左下角的molding打开来看看，木头有没有发黑，进水。

我夏天时换的窗，没注意啥时候裂缝的，哪天一抬头突然就看到了，就象LS说的从一个拐子裂开的，现在裂的口比你的貌似大点，不过没那么长，你这裂的可真够长的

很明显在安装新窗的时候，窗框被挤压造成的。重新加固窗框，换墙板。
