Agree.
When I was driving back to Toronto on last Friday afternoon, I was stuck in 416 for 45 minutes. Accident.
A SUPER truck (those truck drivers think they are driving a SUPER truck) was on the ditch, I thought the truck must have lost control and luckily there was no car close to the truck, if not, any car (American!!, European, and Asian) will end up like in the video.
Attitude is the most imporant factor. Even though you are excellent driver, you can avoid yourself rear-ended into others, but you have NO control on those who like TAIL-GATING and rear-ended your car
, or being slam by a SUPER truck.
Drive defensively, not offensively.
Drive a reliable car (will not break down on highway because of transmission failure)
Check your tire pressure, liquid level, ....
There was an accident on last Tuesday afternoon, on Highway 7, 130 km from Ottawa. Head on collision that both drivers were dead. The weather was fine, and there was no snow, but BLACK ice. =>"黑冰、冻雨什么的". One of the driver was driving an American Van, American but so what!!
