• Software development in embedded operating systems, Windows or Linux
• Expert C and assembly programming and debugging skills with knowledge of cross-platform software
development, testing and evaluation procedures
• Expertise in low-level hardware driver programming, object Oriented principles and programming for real-time
embedded Operating System preferred
• Understanding of hardware MCU eco-system with experience in hardware development and FPGAs is an asset
• Strong communication skills
• Experience using configuration management software such as CVS
• Proven track record of working in multi-function teaming arrangements and virtual team environments
• Proven experience working on multiple projects in parallel
• Ability to take ownership of diverse issues and drive them to resolution
• Experience with imaging and/or machine vision is an asset
• Team orientation to work assignments
• 4-8 Years of experience in software design
• Education: College or University program in Engineering, Physics or related program
