On April 10th, 2012, SSC President Liseanne Forand and PIPSC President Gary Corbett met to discuss Budget 2012 and its impact to SSC.

On behalf of PIPSC President Gary Corbett, I am pleased to announce that no PIPSC members will be affected at Shared Services Canada:

“Potential impacts on employees as a result of Budget 2012 will be mitigated through careful human resource planning, rigorous vacancy management and by leveraging training, development and re-skilling of our employees… We are committed to communicating with you and with our employees on a regular basis as we implement our workforce management strategy”

那到目前为止，我只知道CIC有被影响的CS的人。有一个组，17个职位，减到12个。

的确,虽然一直买有机的食品,但是一直就对有机的蔬果的新鲜度心有芥蒂,即使不是因为进口的因素,有机的购买者比较少,所以不时都会看到放久了不新鲜的情况.其实要不是对转基因的安全性心有疑惑的话,对于蔬果是否有机我是不在乎的,不知道是否可以从标签上判断是否转基因呢,有文章说4开头的都是转基因的,也有说8开头的才是(比如costco的大部分),而4开头则是传统作物.所以在无法判断的情况下,只好买有机的了.但肉蛋类,激素啊,抗生素啊,似乎有机的对孩子会好一些,你看那些有机的鸡蛋,就是国内买的土鸡蛋的感觉.
