Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* Overall Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in software quality and/or software development engineering experience.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in server-side SQA and/or software development engineering experience.
* Minimum of 3 years experience testing and/or developing distributed applications/services.
* Minimum of 3 years experience working with UNIX/Linux operating system.
* Minimum of 3 years experience working with one of more common scripting languages such as perl, python, ruby, php, and/or shell.
* Minimum of 3 years experience developing and/or executing back-end system test automation.
* Minimum of 3 years experience working with one or more common Internet protocols such as IP, TCP, HTTP, DNS, FTP, and/or SSL.
Desired Qualifications
* Education: Master’s Degree or greater in Computer Science.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills.
* Strong experience developing and maintaining test automation scripts, libraries and frameworks (OO methodologies strongly preferred, OO Perl strongly preferred).
* Experience with Linux internals.
* Experience with client/server testing.
* Experience testing large-scale, large-volume and highly distributed systems.
* Experience with/knowledge of hypervisor technologies (such as KVM, VMWare, Xen or Hyper-V).
* Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
