The OCDSB, like a number of school boards in Ontario, is facing labour disruption beginning Monday, November 12, 2012. This does not mean that a “strike” or “lockout” is imminent, but we are preparing for a partial withdrawal of services on Monday. Specifically, we anticipate a withdrawal of supervision for non-classroom activities and administrative duties. The service withdrawal applies to all secondary teachers, occasional teachers, educational assistants, early childhood educators, office administrators, office assistants, custodial and maintenance staff and professional staff (psychologists, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists and social workers).

• OCETF representing elementary teachers
• OCEOTA representing elementary occasional teachers
The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) includes:
• OSSTF representing secondary teachers
• OSSTF representing secondary occasional teachers
• OSSTF (ESP) representing educational support professionals which includes school office administrators and office assistants, guidance services assistants and staff in central departments
• OSSTF (PSSU) representing custodial and maintenance staff
• OSSTF (PSSP) representing psychologists, social workers, speech and language pathologists
• OSSTF (SSP) representing educational assistants and early childhood educators
• OSSTF (PECCS) representing LINC and Adult ESL instructors and childcare staff
