请教：garage door insulation

请教一下各位garage door到底需不需要装insulated door，还是uninsulated也行？老车库，墙壁没做insulation。

另外给大家提个醒：千万别请EHS（exterior home solutions）做事。我家这次可是被他们害惨了。车库门和opener就是其一。:flaming:

我的理解，UNINSULATED的就是一层皮（当然应该有加强筋），INSULATED就是2层皮厚些的，里面有填充隔热材料的。

不知道对也不对？

INSULATED要好些吧，能差多少钱啊！

我7月在HD买的9‘X7’的是254+TAX

2-inch
R6.5 insulation
This door is the same as their Model 2050 which sells for 339.15$ (originally 399$)
The only difference is the sheet metal gauge used... one is 28gauge and the other 26gauge I believe.

谢谢！是的，我看了uninsulated的sample，只有一层皮。

我找了几家装车库门的比较，其中有一家我们以前找他修过门，老人家人很靠谱（当然我也有可能有看走眼的时候，比如EHS），可是奇怪的是他家只卖uninsulated door。另外两家都只卖insulated door，说是因为uninsulated door不适合用automatic door opener，需要做额外的加固，即使如此也还是不如insulated door结实。

另外你的insulated door怎么会是R6.5呢？我看了一下人家给的flyer好像都是R12-R14呀。

不过无所谓，我已经自己装在地里了，反正那工具房也是一层铁皮。

前几天我记录的房内最低温度是-3度，这几天还没去看，我需要冬天这种房子最低温度的数据，以后好决定冬天能储存点什么。

我知道了，6.5是insulatoin的厚度，加上两层铁皮的厚度可能就有10+了。

嗯，看来我应该去HD问问，听朋友说要便宜很多，而且售后不错。谢谢！

谢鸭子！不过我估计正常年景不会低于-25吧？

据说种子类的东西只要在低于零下17度的环境下呆过，就将不可逆的休眠，不会发芽。

maybe it's worth to put some insulation on your shed's wall and door (spray foam?) if you already saw -3c last few days, it's basically saying that the temperature inside your shed has no big difference from the temperature outside if outside temperature reaches -25, you might get -20 inside
