Overhead sign falls onto tractor trailer, several lanes of highway after two-vehicle crash, OPP say

A crash on Highway 417 that caused an overhead sign to collapse onto a tractor trailer and several lanes of the highway was causing significant traffic delays Monday night.
It happened at about 6:45 p.m., just before the exit at Pinecrest/Greenbank, when a car and a tractor trailer collided, Ontario Provincial Police said.
The tractor trailer slammed against a concrete barrier and struck the pole holding up the overhead sign.
No one was hurt.
All eastbound lanes of the highway were closed from Richmond Road and traffic detours were in place.
OPP were investigating.
