Basic personal amount claim $7,412肯定要减了，
但
Spouse or common-law partner amount:
Base amount 00 6,923
都没有留地方改，是不是就不用按天数百分比减了？难道还要自己
把它划去改掉不成？

new immigrant's tax return

First if you are newly-landed immigrants (landed in year 2001), you need to send your return to a different address. There is a leaflet in local post outlet, called something like guidebook of tax return for new immigrants, there is an evenlope in it.
You can also use the convention one, just takes another two more weeks.

Second, both you and your spouse's credit need to be calculated on a actual day basis, which is credit amount x days / 365.
