Heavy snow tapering off later tonight.

Details

Heavy snow will become lighter this evening. It is estimated that 20 or more centimetres have already fallen by mid evening across Eastern Ontario, with an additional 5 cm likely late this evening and overnight. Snow will taper off Thursday morning. Poor driving conditions are expected due to heavy snowfall and low visibilities. Brisk easterly winds could produce areas of blowing snow.
