纽约偷车嫌犯发现车内有婴儿 报警后离开
据美国《纽约邮报》2月6日报道，当地时间2月5日，一对年轻美国情侣从商店里出来准备驾车离开时，男子因惦记在商店里看中的一款手机，回到店里将手机举到窗边给女友看。女友为了看清，从未熄火的吉普车里下来凑近看。结果一名小偷迅速上车将车开走。
当时，汽车后座坐着这对情侣刚满8个月的女儿。男子见状慌忙出来追车，但未能追上，遂立即报警。然而在警察接到报案40分钟后，报警中心接到另一个报警电话说发现一辆吉普车内有一名女婴，在告知车辆的准确位置后电话被挂断。警方立即到该地点将被盗的吉普车和女婴救回。
据警察推测，这名有西班牙口音的嫌犯应该是在偷车后发现后座有个婴儿，也许出于不忍心，就主动报警，弃车逃跑了。目前该嫌疑犯还没有被抓到。

A car thief reported his own crime after discovering the vehicle had a seven-week-old baby boy in the back.
Police said a blue Subaru Impreza car was parked on Moor Road in Orrell, Wigan, at about 19:35 GMT on Tuesday.
Baby Leo's father Tom Moulsdale, 24, briefly left the car to enquire about some work at a house. The thief got into the running vehicle and drove off.
Police took an anonymous call 15 minutes later about a baby being left in a car three miles away in Billinge.
The abandoned vehicle was recovered and Leo was found unharmed.

Car thief in New York runs off after finding a baby in backseat of stolen car
A NEW York car thief drove off in an SUV, only to discover there was a witness to the crime: a baby in the backseat.
Maybe he had a conscience, or just didn't want to have to change diapers, but the thief, captured on surveillance video posted on NBC television, quickly dumped his hot ride.
The parents of the seven-month-old baby girl had left her in the vehicle late on Tuesday while they stopped at a store in the Bronx.
Footage showed the thief looking around, then climbing into the car, which had been left running, and taking off. But he drove only a short distance before abandoning the vehicle and its precious cargo.
NY1 television posted pictures of the carjacker's cute, unwilling partner-in-crime and quoted a caregiver saying she was unharmed and being evaluated in hospital.
There was no immediate information regarding the whereabouts of the thief.
