请教Timothy's！关于草皮和Grub

我家草皮三个年头。去年10月发现草还绿着，但草根全烂掉了。后来看的好多百虫才知道是Grubs. 估计前院的草已经全死了。
现在4月了。想撒草籽种上去。翻地的时候还是看虫子，不多。我现在是该先杀虫，再种草呢，还是种草到5六月份再杀虫呢？（因为看的一些信息建议5月后杀虫子。比如用Nematodes有一定的温度湿度要求。可是如果现在种草籽，会不会白种了？如果彻底不管草坪一年。这些虫子会不会明年就没有了？谢谢！

There is really nothing you could do. I have same problem. Only thing you could do is replant, reseed, water and fertilize. Now there is only Nematodes could be used. Chemical is banned. The effective of Nematodes vary greatly. Most time is useless.
If you lawn is well maintained . More water more fertilizer should take care of the problem. If it is not, reseeding every year is the game plan. After few years natural Nematodes would catch up with grub. Put them under control.
"如果彻底不管草坪一年。这些虫子会不会明年就没有了" would not work. Because there would be weeds. Grub eat them too.

非常感谢你的回复.我们现在把整个草坪都翻了,打算重新撒草子.还有一个问题就是.有人说我必须重新铺草皮.是这样吗?自己种草子不行了吗? 谢谢!

草籽儿也行，就是慢点，重新铺草皮呢，比较好看

What I did was replace the front lawn with sod. But did my backyard with seeds.
