Electronics Design Engineer
This client is a designer and manufacturer of electronic instruments for process protection, level detection and bulk materials handling used in industries worldwide.
General:
The Designer designs, develops and tests hardware and software for the client’s products. This is either a totally new product or improves an existing product. This is a challenging position to a creative and team-oriented person who thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Responsibilities:
・ Analog circuit design.
・ Circuit analysis in the use of simulation tools.
・ Digital circuit design
・ Contribution to overall product design.
・ Design specifications, test plans, and product testing following an ISO9000 process.
・ Customer site product validation activities
Requirements:
・ B.Sc. Electrical Engineering
・ 3+ years design experience in a product development environment
・ Analog and Digital circuit design
・ Designing to International EMC and safety standards
・ Microprocessor based product design
・ Excellent organizational skills
・ Excellent oral and written communication skills
・ Good project leadership skills
・ Excellent interpersonal skills
・ Assembly, C, or C++ programming a definite asset
