JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for:
• Directs the daily activities of staff and resources in the laboratory;
• Ensures internal liaison with the appropriate parties to communicate and/or address any quality issue;
• Supervision, evaluation, motivation and training of personnel to ensure work is completed efficiently,
• Effectively and safely, duties also include scheduling, vacation management and payroll;
• Monitors, reviews and implements quality programs to ensure compliance to CFIA/HACCP and
• Customer/third party and internal audit requirements;
• Verification and monitoring of in-process food safety and sanitation controls while applying expert knowledge of dairy products;
• Ensures consistent application of best practices related to testing/inspection methods, analysis and auditing techniques;
• Investigates and resolves quality deviations and customer complaints; reporting and communicating findings as necessary;
• Timely communication of quality issues to local management and upper management as they arise;
• Report trends and communicates key food safety and quality parameters and participates in correction of negative trends;
• Ensures that safe conditions exist at all times within the work environment; takes appropriate and effective measures to provide for the health and safety of employees;
• Develops and fosters strong and effective functional and cross-functional teams;
• Fostering of internal departmental relationships with the focus on continuously improving the facility Team environment;
• Administration of the Collective Agreement and Company Policies and Procedures;
• Assists with preparation of department budget; monitors and controls costs;
• Available to work all shifts as required
• Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.’s quality standards;
• Undertake other functions as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Post-Secondary education in Food Science or Microbiology is preferred;
• Prior Supervisory experience in Quality Control or operations within the Dairy, beverage or food processing industry;
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational and analytical skills and a strong team orientation;
• Proficiency and dependability in current position;
• Unionized experience an asset;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc

JOB SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a highly qualified individual to work to provide effective leadership, supervision and direction of the Warehouse Operations; ensures the safe, efficient and effective operation of the warehousing functions, and ensures the accurate and timely picking, loading and delivery of customer orders.
JOB DUTIES:
• Provides leadership, direction and guidance to Warehouse personnel;

• Ensures consistent application of company processes and procedures;
• Ensures security of materials and products;
• Facilitates training and the application of the Warehouse Management system;
• Undertakes other functions as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems;
• High school graduation or equivalent;
• Post Secondary education in operations management, business, transportation or warehousing preferred;
• Knowledge of shipping, operations management, business, transportation or warehousing an asset;
• Prior management or administrative experience in shipping or operations as asset;
• Working knowledge of MS Office software;
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational and analytical skills and a strong team orientation;
• High level of self-motivation and initiative;
• Proficiency and dependability in current position.
• Knowledge of WHMIS, GMP and other Health and Safety related programs.
