Contributed/Kijiji A Nepean woman is selling her ex-boyfriend's sailboat on Kijiji after her "commitment-phobe" ex-boyfriend walked away from the blue Alberg 22.
“Like every other good thing in his life, my stupid ex-boyfriend walked away from a beautiful sailboat, and left me to pick up the pieces,” one Kanata, Ontario woman posted in a Kijiji ad, offering the gently used Alberg 22 sailboat for ‘cheap’.
The blue 22-foot sloop stored in Almonte belonged to her ex-boyfriend who couldn’t handle the responsibility (or the sails) and she is selling it for just $1,850. The average cost of this boat used is $7000 to $8000, as advertised in this ad on sailquest.com.
“With a little dedication and work, this boat could be turned into something really special, not like my stupid ex-boyfriend,” the poster continued. ”No amount of work, dedication or patience could save him — not even Christ can save him. Luckily for you, he never followed through on his plans for the boat (typical). Otherwise, who knows what kind of disaster he would have left in his wake (also typical).”
The woman reassures potential customers that she is “not a crazy jilted woman” and that she has the legal right to sell the boat.
