二手破产处理的商业物品从美国运加拿大的申报价值问题.

最近有美国朋友帮我整了一些(关门,破产后处理的)美国二手商用物品.他几乎没花钱, 要我付个运费就可以.

尽管是二手的, 但是还是有resell价值的, 如果我认为resell价值有5000, 但是我朋友确实没花钱,就是开个车拿回来. 在他填写物品申报价值的时候怎么填比较好? 有没有朋友有类似经验?

Your friend need make commercial invoice as seller to you as buyer, then ship by UPS or other shipping company.

If your friend drive goods back, he needs show the actual invoice/receipt from actual seller.

很多破产法拍,商业关门等等, 到最后是随便免费拿,货物原物主也省得仓库,运输,店面清理清洁等处理费用, 没有收据.

Customs officers do not listen whatever you say, they need written document to prove that. Otherwise anybody can tell same story which can be fake story.

If you cannot make receipt, only realistic option is : Your friend need make commercial invoice as seller to you as buyer, then ship by UPS or other shipping company.

Otherwise you can make receipt, as Yard sale or ebay auction with seller's contact info, full goods list and price, it is not comfortable way.

If I were you, I would ship back. It is professional way.
