向球友们汇报一下比赛结果：
At the game last night, some friends asked about how we did last weekend at Markham where we participated in a basketball tournament, we thank you for your concerns and supports.
There were 7 teams in the Master Division(35 years old or older). Each team played 2 games on Saturday. According to the win and winning point difference, our Ottawa Amigos were in 3rd Place for the first round(we won 1 game and lost 1 game, but the game we won, we were ahead about 25 points).
Sunday morning at 10:00am, we played the number 6th team from First Round. We won again, although it was only 3 points. It was a very difficult game as the other team played very well. They were so experienced, just a bit short in energy comparing to our team. Because of this win, we were advanced to the Semi-Final.
Our team did not play the Semi-Final because the game was scheduled to play at 3:00pm. We figured: if we play at 3:00pm, it ends at 4:00pm, taking a shower, eating something, doing some shopping, it will be around 5:30pm or 6:00pm. By that time, it will be too late to drive back, and too tired to drive back. But some of our teammates would like to play, so we asked some members of the losing team (they were still in the Change Room) to play the Semi-Final game. I don’t know the result of that game. Could somebody update us please.
I did not expect our team to win any game before we drove down to Toronto as we do not have the most critical two positions: Point Guard and Center. Our team exceeded my expectations(I did not even have any expectations at all any ways). Job well done and congratulations, guys.
Xue Feng, Qiao Qi, Zhang Fasheng, Xue Jinsheng, and Eddie Chueng(point guard from FCCM) were our best team and they made the best contribution for our wins. Super.
