什么地方说“网星要绑定IP”？ 怎么觉得你的 roku 到哪儿都一样看，比如跑到小鸭家去，应该一样看的。

BTW，等着你试验几个东东：
1. 接上网线，看电视直播卡的情况： 凤凰卫视， LETV, CNTV 等。 你的 roku 处理器是我这个 roku 的 5 倍。
2. 遥控器， roku 3 是 WIFI 的， 看看在 BASEMENT 能不能遥控 2 楼的 roku

年初，有人推荐买 pivos 盒子， 买了个觉得很好（支持很多下载的视频 avi, rmvb, mts ....）, 国内节目的回放，youtube 等。 当时也想过再买一个同样的。

现在有了这个 roku, 那个 pivos 盒子基本进了冷宫了！ BTW，我手头还有两个 MXUSA 盒子，现在基本是垃圾了

我家的电视信号有几路，楼上楼下BASEMENT 全是一根电缆连着，所有的机顶盒全在一个柜里放着， 目前 卫星电视盒通过变频器进入 3 频道， roku 变频进 14 频道， aios 机顶盒变频进 16 频道， DVD 变频进 18 频道。 四个盒子要是同时开着，这时在 BASEMENT 打开电视， 3 频道是卫星，14频道是 roku, 18 频道 DVD. 孩子在看 DVD 时， 俺拿着 roku 遥控器在厨房就可以看网星了


"网星上链接时输入的IP", 仅仅是注册时有用。 注册完了， 凭你的六位用户 ID 和 你的 google 帐号链接网星。。。

我用Roku XS很长时间,今年下半年才换Roku 3.
1. Roku 3 is much faster, but you can buy two Roku 2 XS for the price. The 5 times faster CPU is useless in most of cases;
2. Roku 3 remote is Wifi based, Roku 2 XS is bluetooth based. Neither need point directly to the box. Roku 3 has more range (anywhere Wifi coverage);
3. I didn't see any improvements on the Media player function (play movie in external USB drive) from Roku 2 XS to Roku 3. Still sucks.

If you buy Roku to watch Netstartv, ANY roku (including Roku 1/2/XS/XD/HD) can do the job. No need buy Roku 3.

If you want watch something else such as Netflix, go with Roku 3. Also there is rumor Roku 3 "may" support Miracast in the future. If that's the case, it's other reason you should go with Roku 3.

我扔了几次我女儿的小板凳，都被她拿回来了。

I have CNN channel on Roku, it's not real time though. Go to Roku.com and login to your account, add "Private channel".

CNN code is here, I'm not sure which code works. Maybe the CNN international one.

Or you get a VPN as 老何, you can watch many USA only channels.
