行李被加航托运丢了

7天了还没有找到,加航行李跟踪的customer service 电话每次要等好久才能拨通,而且是外包给了印度,太难沟通了。准备网上找表格claim。
想问的是,如果走正常claim流程,填表寄材料,需要多长时间加航才会做出最终报告?
没有加航的final decision report,就无法向自己的信用卡公司 claim essential expense due to the delayed baggage, up to $500。而加航自己的则少得可怜,up to $100.

另外申报需要提供所有物品的原始发票,加航才给补偿。可有些发票早没了。
没收到行李已经造成居多不便,这申报流程就更闹心,太霸王条款了!

I lost receipts (the goods are about $600, or more). I could not remember how long they released the $150, it cost many days for sure, and no energy to fight with them at end.
They told me that the $150 is the Maximum they can give out without receipt.

按行规你的行李晚到超过24小时加航应该给你报销买日用品的花销,比方说牙膏牙刷毛巾裤衩等换洗衣物。丢失行李按每公斤30美元/加币赔偿。
你自己去加航网站查查,查不到让村长帮你查查。 @ccc

有那么多?那我的那个23KGx$30=$690!!! 没那个可能:evil:
 
多年多次旅行,从没丢过行李。最长等过15天,还没有行李条儿。当时机场没拿到就填个表,回家后打个电话描述包包长啥样儿,颜色,大小,最后加航专送到门。

加航能报销的日用品花销太少了,最多两天,每天$50。之后的花销不管。而且就这$100,claim也很麻烦。

网站上说5天内还没有收到行李的话,需要在21天内填写申报单。但没有提及他们收到申报单后多久能给出final decision。

谢谢提供的信息。这次是上周末在Toronto飞机大面积延误造成的。没拿到行李的乘客不在少数,就加拿大人的办事效率,15天算是很快了。我这个很可能就找不着了,找到估计也要等很久很久。

他那是老黄历吧。现在都填申报单还需要提供原始发票,可claim up to $1500 domestic, $20 /kg for international flight

没发票的话,就看他们的心情给了。

If your international travel (including domestic portions on international travel) is subject to theWarsaw Convention, liability is limited to approximately $20 USD (20 EUR) per kg per passenger for checked baggage, and approximately $400 USD (400 EUR) per passenger for unchecked baggage.

If your international travel (including domestic portions on international travel) is subject to theMontreal Convention, Air Canada and Air Canada Express' liability in respect of destruction, loss of, or damage or delay to baggage is limited to 1,131 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 1,357; US $1,663) per passenger, in most cases.
