Why do we need you?
With the continuous expansion of our business module, we have identified Toronto, Canada as a new market for our services. Our premise is newly established at the heart of Los Angeles central business district. We are looking to hire a Human Resource and Administration Supervisor of Chinese background to help build an efficient workforce. Your general job description will include:
a) Office Management
1. Managing an administrative team and overseeing daily office operations; delegating work to staff accordingly while increasing their productivity
2. Developing and updating office administrative policies
3. Handling of office documentation and filing system, internal publications and circulations
4. Negotiating advertisement contracts with mass media representatives
5. Developing business partnerships with vendors, managing office supply of stationary and equipment
6. Working in close liaison with building landlord, maintaining office conditions, arranging for necessary repairs and regular testing on electrical equipment and safety devices
7. Developing standard procedures in response to customer inquiries and complaints
8. Recording office expenditure and managing office budget
9. Reviewing and updating health and safety policies, ensuring that they are observed
b) Human resource management
1. Overseeing the recruitment of qualified new staff in accordance with the development needs of the company
2. Carrying out staff appraisals, managing their work performance and authorizing disciplinary actions when necessary
3. Promoting self development and training
4. Developing and updating human resource policies
5. Handling affairs of staff resignation and dismissals
c) General duties and responsibilities
1. Completing reports on the different departments of the company
2. Performing administration and day-to-day- operations
3. Handling employee contracts, conditions and disputes
4. Working in liaise with employee and management team
5. Producing documentations to be reviewed by the head office in China
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate must possess:
1. At least 3 years experience in a HR and Admin role around the United States
2. A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in a relevant field
3. A current United States citizenship or permanent residency
4. Fluency in both English and Mandarin
