2014 HARVEST FESTIVAL
YOU ARE ALL INVITED To celebrate our first year of growing good things.
The Harvest Festival is our annual community outreach and fundraising event.
The date has been set for Sunday September 21st - rain date September 28th 雨天改为九月二十八日
Taking place right in your garden on Klondike Road, from 11:00 to 2:00pm.菜园位置
* There will be a pot-luck buffet with an opportunity to donate $$ to the Garden为菜园乐捐
* We will have a contest for the best “INGLORIOUS VEGGIE” Celebrate the ugly veg!最丑的蔬菜比赛
* We are also looking for donations of hand tools, shovels, wheel-barrow, watering cans接受工具捐赠
* Donations of fresh veg & food items will be gratefully received for the Food Cupboard接受新鲜蔬果捐赠给食物银行
* Gardeners will share their experiences - what worked/what didn’t to share the skills种菜经验分享
* You can sign up for a garden box for next year too!接受明年菜圃登记注册
* Kanata Chinese Seniors Support Centre will provide the Entertainment.华裔老年支助中心的老年朋友文娱节目助兴
* SMART CITY SCIENCE will have science workshops & kid related hands-on gardening lessons so bring the entire family!科学小常识动手做和现场游戏。
