Narrow minded, knot heads!! What kind of juvenile government do we have. One that has no respect for science as well as anything else apparently.
We can forget the Canadian space program even sending an astronaut into space again until the Americans can resurrect their mothballed program to get to the space station. Why would Russia permit Canadians anywhere near their rockets at this point.
Sure,........Mr. Harper is mad a Mr. Putin.........and we have cancelled visas on a host of Russian political folk,........but this is science and one of the true basic platforms for scientific cooperation that was able to continue even through the cold was. But clearly Mr. Harper and his short pants kids in the PM's hall can't get their maturity level about that of a 3 year old. This is extraordinarily shameful!

How dumb! The Russians are doing ALL the heavy lifting for now to the ISS and who knows where-else ... this idiotic whiny bit of childishness has probably cost Canadian scientists a seat in 2016 or 2017 to the ISS.
And these good scientists probably have a lot to contribute to the international discussions. It is petulant and REALLY bad policy to leave these people at the door, then slam it in their face(s).
Of course, Harper and his collection of succotash in the party don't believe in real science.
