This 30 hour training course is designed for certified yoga teachers wishing to teach Yin Yoga and to students open to deepening their experience of Yin Yoga.
Included in this training program is:
o Knowledge of the Philosophy and Practice of Yin Yoga
o Understanding of the practical benefits of Yin Yoga: physically, energetically and mentally
o Learning the difference between Yin and Yang styles of Yoga
o Understanding Physiology & Anatomy – from the bones outward including the Limits to Movement and
the importance of skeletal variations
o Knowing what stops you and the difference between Tension and Compression
o Understanding Energy including Prana, Qi (chi) & the Meridians
o Exploring mindfulness practices within your yoga practice
o Working through the most common Yin Yoga asanas
o Building Yin sequences for optimal health and wellbeing
o Practice in teaching Yin Yoga classes
o A Yin Yoga handout
o A certificate of completion
o Daily 90 minute yin practice
