I have a confused question: What is in right behind the siding? or: What is between the siding and isolation?

Thanks lots! My problem is; I have walk out basement, above the basement door is a deck, deck face to east south, snow stocked on the deck, when the sun light is getting strong, the water start to leek in the basement from the top frame of basement door. That means I did not shovel the snow in time( the stocking snow melting and getting inside of siding from siding) or builder did something wrong?

墙不是水密封的，Siding 的用处是向下导水，这样水就不进到墙里面来。
门的上方进水，有可能是Siding跟门的接缝处没做好，也有可能是你门外的积雪将水挡住了，水没法往下流，就进到里面来了。
如果你以前从来没有漏水的情况，那么后者的可能性大些。
为什么不让Builder来看看？
