Dear Patient,
We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to share with you some good news! UOHS currently has several family physicians accepting new patients into their practice. If you have family members or friends in search of a family physician, please let them know we would be honoured to welcome them but that registration would be on a first come, first serve basis.
In order to be eligible, those you are referring must have OHIP coverage and be an Ontario resident.
The people you refer will need to register online at www.uottawa.ca/health, by telephone at 613-564-3950 or in person at any one of our locations and they must mention your complete name (as their reference) and the name of your family physician. Please note that if registering online, a phone call from UOHS staff will complete the registration process.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that you can always make or cancel appointments online with your family physician, the physiotherapy department or with the Travel Medicine clinic. For more information, please see our Appointmentspage.

** All students and staff from the University of Ottawa or Saint Paul University, as well as employees of the Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group or the “Operation Family Doc” program for military families, regardless of provincial health coverage, can register with a family doctor at UOHS.
