Government encourages people with disability to "self-identify". In other words, you don't have to tell them about your disability, but it is to your own advantage that you tell them.

Do you have the formal definition of hard-hearing? I am interested in knowing which the Government site include hard-hearing among categories of disability. Because people could easily argue that hearing problem can be remedied by hearing aids just eye glasses for near-sighted. Personally, I do not believe it could turn to be my advantage in career pursuit.
Yes, both of my ears suffer from the loss of hearing. Given the fact that so many normal people having Canadian experience are still hunting for jobs, I have no strong reason to be that confident unless that I am able to claim my disability which I hardly believe. Anyway, thanks a lot for encouragement!
