July 1st- Home stay offered to one student (meals not included, female preferred). The bedroom has a brand new bed, desk, chair, printer and night table. You have a large closet with a dresser to put your clothes.
You will live comfortable inside a beautiful home which is in an upscale and safe neighborhood of Ottawa close to both Carleton University and University of Ottawa. The apartment is located close to grocery stores, drugstore, restaurants, coffee shops, drugstore, shopping centre, parks and the canal. Getting around the city is super easy by bicycle, walking and the buses which stop close by.
The rent is $850 per month plus electricity (approximately $50 per month) and Internet ($35 per month). The apartment is quiet and clean. It has a front porch, backyard, fireplace, dishwasher, hardwood floors throughout except the bedroom where there is carpeting. There is a free washer and dryer in the basement of the building shared with one other tenant. First and last month’s rent required up front.
What I am looking for: First and foremost someone who is quiet, non-smoker, responsible, friendly, tidy, clean and dog-friendly. If you want to have house parties, play loud music or television on a regular basis, this is not the best place for you. If you’re looking for someone to help you and show you around and make you feel comfortable, then please contact me.
About me: I am woman working full-time downtown for the Canadian government and also work from home once or twice a week. I love to come home to a quiet and peaceful space. I like meeting new people, helping others, reading, good food, foreign films, the arts, tea, cooking, learning about other cultures and travelling.
