Sep 23, 2015 — Congratulations!
Today is an important day for our voices. By signing this petition you added your support to the Sex Ed Curriculum. This morning, together with a diverse, Ontario-wide coalition of health care providers, education workers, community agencies and supportive individuals, I presented the petition at Queen's Park and gratefully accepted Kathleen Wynne's response to it.
See this tweet to read the coalition letter of support delivered at the Ontario Parliament Media Room today.

With the support of people like you this curriculum is being taught right now, this school year, all over Ontario. It is not changing and there is no evidence the Ministry of Education will be reopening the subject, after all it is the most consulted curriculum update in Ontario's history. But our work is not over, it is our duty to show support to the teachers and the community who implement it.
Let your teachers and principals know that you support the changes in person with them. If you know that sex ed is being discussed at an upcoming school board meeting, please take the time to attend or call your trustee and let them know you support a progressive, inclusive curriculum.
I would like to personally thank you for standing with me on my first ever petition. Support like yours gives me confidence and pride in the communities we build together.
