正是。那时克里清政府的腐败丑闻昭揭天下。总理本人为了卖掉自己靠近一个高尔夫球场的房子，让国家商业银行给濒临破产的高尔夫球场贷款翻新。但是当时的行长以借款人信用不足保证还款的原因。拒绝此贷款。结果总理官报私仇，直接把该行长拿下。换上他的亲信。于是贷款顺利批给高尔夫球场。总理的房子也以高价卖出。这一切因为被撤职的行长上告才披露出来。克里清只好下台换上小马田。后来选民知道细节，把自由党轰下台。这段故事在国会辩论时有记录的。

So next he steals the peoples right to due process of law by passing a Canadian copy of Bush's Patriot Act - no problem, Canadians don't care. So Harper plunges Canada into the worse crippling DEBT in all their history, doling out tax dollars to his corporate paymasters - no problem, Canadians don't care. The whole world is wondering what else the dumb Canadians will let Harper steal away from them. Canada, pathetic. LOL
