A pedestrian was rushed to hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon, Ottawa paramedics said.
The accident took place about 3:30 p.m. on Woodroffe Avenue south of Slack Road.
Police closed northbound lanes of Woodroffe at Fallowfield Road as they investigated, and asked motorists to avoid the area.
