I respect them but not using them to guide my life. I believe the catholic school is more emphasize the value and academic, but I don't want my child only using them to guild his life also. that is my concern.

emphasize the value and academic 有什么不好？ 总的来讲天主学校好一点。 其实教徒和华人在社会价值观上很接近，道德判断上都比较保守。 不信你想想 大麻，性教纲，同性恋这些问题。 如果学法语，设置上有所不同，倒是要考虑的。

平均来说是不是?
1. 私校好与公校 (公校曾经很不错, 感觉被安省教委搞烂了)
2. 在公费学校里, 宗教类好与非宗教类 (宗教学校保守, 烂事少一些, 教委的很多烂指令到了宗教背景学校被软化)
3. 非宗教公校里 法语教学的好于英语教学 (感觉是资源分配的结果, 和重视教育的家长选择的结果)

蒙校那几所正规的大的还是不错的。那些小的little蒙校就觉得不咋地。nepean靠merivale/viewmount有家大的前２年撑不下去关了。不过私校再好也没觉得好到要咬牙送的地步除非真不缺钱。
catholic school觉得总体来说好，没有象public那样好坏差别太大
个人感觉public教学质量在退步
