从lightreading上看到有人这样说Huawei, 原来Huawei在印度剥削印度人, 为Huawei感到自豪.

In light of the current thread, I thought this was an interesting fact that I came across.
In Bangalore, India Huawei has a huge software development center. In the 500+ people out there more than 2/3rds are chinese and comprise of the upper management structure. The lower leaves are all indian programmers. It seems that no Indian is revealed any more information other than his module that is required for him to code it up. He would not be told how it is used, what products is it related or any such information.
I found it interesting about how a chinese company is trying to guard its secrets in another country, which is itself a big software power in the making.

here's some info on this huawei in blore india.
(a) they pay among the highest salaries in Blore.
typically 20-30% more than what others in same
sector do.
(b) the work env is bad compared to indian and
american cos. but the money is supposed to make
up for it (?) so some take it, some dont like it.
(c) its not true that only the upper mngmt is
chinese. they have "deputed" lot of junior
chinese engineers there too to learn the ropes.
(d) the indian govt intelligence agency investigated this office and considered deporting
all the chinese engineers(acc to local press) when
it was revealed post 9/11 that Huawei had built
a fiber network for the Taliban and also in Iraq.
atleast a show-cause notice was filed and Huawei
somehow got off the hook.
its unclear how much backing huawei has from
PRC govt. certainly they supply gear to Govt and
military and is preferred as a local co.
and spare me the crap about how "XYZ nation is
dull and only chinese are the Chosen Ones". we
get dullards and geniuses from every land.
heres how huawei got into troube in India.
