急! 急! 枫叶卡问题

枫叶卡的申请表被退回来了， 原因是申请表上的given Name is like: XIAOFEI,
但是移民纸上的given Name is: XIAO FEI ( with space )。
要求填写另一表格 to 申请更改移民纸上的 given name first.

请问谁有类似的经历，
1. 如果申请更改移民纸上的名字需要多长时间?
2. 枫叶卡申请有时间限制吗? ( what is the deadline ? )
3. 可以不更改移民纸上的名字而得到枫叶卡吗?
如果接受移民纸上的写法， given Name is written like: XIAO FEI ( with space).
但是护照上的拼写是: XIAOFEI( without space), 以后会有麻烦吗?

Yes, you will meet the same trouble sooner or later. Just change your name and make them in accordance with each other.

For the application of PR card, you have nothing to worry about at all. There is no deadline for PR card application. You even can apply for it in 2004, but you must keep in mind that you had to wait for about 3 month to get it after the submission your application.

If I got Maple Card pickup notice and my passport has been expired for a while, can I use driver licence or OHIP card as my ID? Thanks...

Is there anyone who has the experience to amend
the name in the immigration landing paper?

Do you know how long will it take?

Also, I checked the guide for amending the name,
it is asked to send the ORIGINAL landing paper + ORIGINAL passport
to them? What will happen if they loose my passport?
As if I give the ORIGINAL passport ( not copy) to them, I will have
no official document to identify myself in case of the emergency?

That's so simple. First, you must send yout original document; second, keep a copy of your documents in case of a emergency; third, use registered mail and keep the receipt. There is nothing to worry about again.
Man, pls keep your brain functional.
