Co'z we r gonna travel to montreal and quebec city this weekend, does anybody know any good motel close to downtown montreal or quebec city?

个人感觉B&B更好, 一般是私人家里, 比较有情调, check-out时间也灵活, 跟房东好商量, 并有丰盛的早餐. 一般单人房40/晚, 双人50-70, share洗手间. 现在是season的开始, 应该很容易找到房. 去Peel Street的Info Centre, 他们会帮你联络住宿, 一般的选择是1.Downtown 2. Old Montreal/old port 3. St. Denis 拉丁区. 其实都很近, 走路20分钟怎么都到了. 但是住市中心会吵一些, 如果你有车, 最好选择有free off-road parking的, 能省下10刀.

There are not many motels in the Montreal downtown area, you might want to go to the suburbs, i.e. Brossard on the south shore, or Pointe-Claire on the west island.
However there is a Best Western right besides Chinatown, starting price should be around $79.99, there are a few like that along Sherbrooke St/McGill-College. or Rene-Levesque/Guy.
I highly suggest you to stay in the downtown area, west of St-Laurent, because that's where the actions are! Night life in Montreal is excellent, i.e. Cresent St., Montagne St. St-Catherines St. The Old Port of Montreal is also very, very charming!

Charlevoix is the most beautiful area in the Quebec City region! You might want to find a motel/hotel there.

If gourmet food is important to you like it is to me, then I suggest you to take a day-trip to Quebec City, and drive back to Montreal and have dinner at 强记.
