A 41-year-old woman remains in extremely serious condition in a Kingston hospital Friday after she was struck by an SUV in a hit-and-run Thursday night.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Princess Street and Midland Avenue at about 7:20 p.m. where the woman had been struck by an east-bound General Motors SUV.
Her condition was described as life-threatening at the scene and during transport to hospital.
Following the collision, surveillance footage from nearby McDonald’s restaurant showed the SUV enter their parking lot, then flee north on Midland Avenue.
The suspect vehicle is described as grey or silver colour, and evidence at the scene suggests it has extensive damage to its front grill and headlight assembly.
