Ottawa police are looking for witnesses to a hit-and-run on Ogilvie Road earlier this month that left an 87-year-old woman seriously injured.
Police said a black SUV struck a pedestrian as it was backing out of a residence in the 2300 block of Ogilvie Road around 1 p.m. on Dec. 8.
The driver drove away from the scene and has not been identified.
The 87-year-old woman who was hit suffered serious injuries. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Ottawa police collision investigation unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2481, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8777.
