A chill was in the air Thursday morning but indications are the capital region is in for a warm, albeit damp, long Easter weekend.

Temperatures were around the freezing mark during the early morning commute but are expected to rise to a high of about 13 C later in the day.

Queensway traffic between Parkdale and Holland avenues was at a crawl in the early going as emergency personnel attended a multi-vehicle collision. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
