Ottawa police are hunting for a 33-year-old man after an 80-year-old man was allegedly forcibly confined and sexually assaulted.
Police allege the incidents took place between Aug. 18 and Sept. 11 in the 300 block of Somerset St. W., between O’Connor and Metcalfe streets.
The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Marwan Ahmad of Ottawa is charged with sexual assault, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, mischief under $5,000 and uttering threats.
He is described as a Middle Eastern man who’s around five-foot seven, balding on the top and back of his head, and has a possible goatee. He was last known to be wearing a black waist-length jacket and blank pants and shoes, with a brown briefcase and a dark suitcase.
