Same service, but you see the family doctor by an appointment. Family doctor has more manageable workload, while the walk-in may wait for hours, sometimes. Some family doctor doesn't allow you to go to walk-in, some family doctors accept walk-in patients.

Family doctor tends to be more responsible, in that they would remind you to take a physical examination, or certain tests at some ages.
