You got up in the dark again and more wintry weather is on the way.

But not for long: the forecast is for a spring-like 5 C and some sunshine by the weekend.

In the meantime, Environment Canada is predicting cloudy skies with a 40 per cent chance of flurries Monday with a high of 2 C then on Monday night, snow which will total 2-4 cm starts as the mercury dips to -3 C.

More periods of snow are on tap for Tuesday, again totaling 2-4 cm, with a high of 0 C.

Overnight, expect periods of snow and a low of -2 C.

Wednesday’s forecast is for flurries and a high of 0 C. Overnight, there’s a 60 per cent chance of more flurries and a low of -4 C.

For Thursday, the chance of flurries drops to 40 per cent with a high of 1 C and a chilly low of -10 C as skies clear.

It’s days away but take this in: Friday’s forecast is for sunshine and 3 C.

For Saturday and Sunday, the early word is mixed skies and highs of 5 C.
