Enjoy the gorgeous sunshine on Monday, because cloudy weather and showers are headed our way by mid-week, says Environment Canada.
Monday dawned bright but cold, with a -5 C temperature during the morning commute that felt more like -9 with the brisk wind. The temperature is expected to climb to a balmy 6 C by Monday afternoon, though, with sunshine.
Expect a low of -5 on Monday night, with Tuesday creeping up to a forecast high of 7 with sun and clouds.
Rain or snow showers are expected to start overnight on Tuesday and continue into Wednesday, which has a forecast high of 5 C.
Thursday will be warmer – around 10 C – but the clouds are expected to stick around.
