Dear Senator:
I hope you say No to legalization of Marijuana. The potential damage to families and society at large are huge. We can’t ignore it.
--There is no scientific research to prove that easy access to Marijuana can reduce damages resulted from illegal drug deals.
--A small amount of marijuana take-in can cause addiction and brain damage to young person; while alcohol is different, which takes more volume to cause damages. In that sense, ban marijuana from our daily life is the way to go, in my opinion.
--There is no ready-to-use technology to equip police to do their jobs in safe guarding the road and community.
--Only a small group of people need marijuana for medical reason. That is the task of medical system to handle and that does not warrant marijuana store should be seen on street or community.
--Canadians want to boom economy in a way that benefits the society in long run, not by conducting drug deals. Adults want to have recreational activities but don’t have to take-in drugs.
--Finally, do you really want to see your grandchild carrying marijuana to school, even in a very small volume?
Senator,I sincerely invite you to briefly go through the following publications. I trust you will stand along with ordinary Canadians, not drug sellers, therefore vote No to stop the proceeding of legalization of recreational use of marijuana.
