The capital woke up to a foggy, drizzly new day Wednesday and the weather office predicts that’s what it’s going to look like for the next few days.
Traffic, particularly along the heavy volume arteries was slowed down by the reduced visibility.
This morning drizzle is expected to peter out this afternoon, along with the remaining fog patches, as the temperature rises to a springlike 9 C.
Wednesday night should be cloudy with a low of about 1 C. Fog patches returning near morning.
Thursday is expected to start out cloudy, with periods of rain or drizzle beginning in the afternoon.
Thursday’s high should be near 8 C. Rain will continue through the evening with a low of 1 C.
Good Friday is expected to be more of the same, although chillier, with a 40 per cent chance of showers or flurries and a high of 3 C.
The temperature is expected to slide to a low of -6 C Friday night.
