Studying submarine aerodynamics at the NRC wind tunnel

This oddly shaped cylindrical building is a familiar landmark you see on the way to the Ottawa airport, but few are privy to the work that goes on inside.

Aerospace research officer Richard Lee took our camera crew on a tour, and showed us how they test the aerodynamics of submarines with a little bit of paint and a lot of wind.
