A man was rushed to the hospital Friday evening after being beaten and stabbed on Cumberland Street in what police believe may have been a robbery.
First responders were called to a building near Clarence Street at 7 p.m. and found the 36-year-old victim, who was by then inside the building on an upper floor.
Police said that the victim, whose injuries were not life-threatening, was not immediately co-operative.
No arrests had been made.
