The leader of Ontario’s Progressive Conservatives will be making a campaign stop in Ottawa Monday with a rally at the Nepean Sportsplex.
Nepean-Carleton MPP Lisa MacLeod tweeted details of Doug Ford’s April 16 event.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. event.
Ford, who worked at his family’s printing business and served on Toronto’s city council, has been holding a string of rallies across province but thus far has revealed few election planks beyond opposition to a carbon tax, a balanced provincial budget and making Ontario “open for business.”
The provincial election is scheduled for June 7.
