Give feedback and get informed about City projects: Week of April 23

The City of Ottawa wants your input on the projects, policies, programs and services that affect your daily life. From open houses to workshops and online consultations, your feedback helps to shape City decisions.

The following opportunities to learn more about City projects are available next week:

Tuesday, April 24
Information session: Montreal Road revitalization project
Centre Pauline-Charron, 164 Jeanne-Mance Street
6:30 pm

• This information session is the first of three drop-in sessions for the Montreal Road revitalization project. The meeting will recap the recommendations outlined in the Montreal Road functional planning study, completed June 2017, and present road improvement plans for Montreal Road and North River Road.

Wednesday, April 25
Information Session: Claridge Homes Development Review
Gloucester South Seniors Centre, 4550 Bank Street
6:30 to 8:30 pm

Thursday, April 26
Open house: development applications in the greater LeBreton Flats area (Building Complete Communities)
Good Companion Centre, 670 Albert Street
6 to 8 pm

• Residents have the opportunity to discuss active development applications in the greater LeBreton Flats area, including:
  • 900 Albert Street – proposed mixed-use development with three high-rise towers offering commercial/retail uses and residential dwelling units
  • 557-587 Wellington Street – proposal including the new Central Library and a mixed-use development concept
  • 301, 324 Lett Street and 133 Booth Street – proposal known as Claridge East Flats for a development concept of five high-rise mixed-use buildings

The following ongoing online consultations where residents can offer their feedback are available next week:

• The City’s Commemorative Naming Committee is conducting public consultations on six separate proposals until May 2.
  • Gabriela Dabrowski Tennis Courts
  • Joe Messner Boat Launch
  • W.O. Wilhelmina Walker Park
  • Lt. Col. William G. Barker VC Park
  • Ed Laverty Fields
  • Don Boudria Park
• 50 Ring-and-Post Bike Racks at Bus Stops: The City of Ottawa has initiated a consultation to determine priority bus stop locations for high quality ring-and-post bike racks. Please submit your ring-and-post bike rack requests using the online feedback form by April 30.
  
• Let’s Bike to Greenboro, Trim and Innovation Park & Ride Stations: The City is starting a Bike to Transit project in the neighbourhoods around Innovation Park & Ride Station, Trim Park & Ride Station and Greenboro Park & Ride Station. Please submit your feedback using the online form by April 30.
  
• Craig Henry Drive Area Traffic Management Study: The City has initiated a study to examine traffic and driver behavior along Craig Henry Drive and to develop potential solutions to address these concerns. Please submit your feedback using the online form by May 4.
