Three-year-old Dingerz Batting Centre closes its doors

With baseball season set to start, what was billed as Ottawa’s only year-round batting and pitching facility has abruptly closed its doors.

Dingerz Batting Centre on Kaladar Avenue made the announcement on its website and on Twitter early Friday morning.

“Regretfully, after three wonderful years, Dingerz Batting Centre will be closing its doors effective immediately,” said the statement attributed to Brian Beehler. “We are very grateful to everyone who has supported us.”

He added the postscript, “as they say, when one door closes, another opens.”

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY DINGERZ BATTING CENTRE IS CLOSED
Regretfully, after three wonderful years, Dingerz Batting Centre will be closing its doors effective immediately. We are very grateful to everyone who has supported us. Thank you once again for your support.
