It’s peak Ottawa weather.

The capital may have awoken Monday morning to a windchill of -4 C but the mercury is heading towards 19 C with a UV index of 6 or high.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Clouds start creeping back in Tuesday morning with a high of 19 C, a 70 per cent chance of overnight showers and a low of 7 C.

For Wednesday, expect showers and a high of 10 C. The overnight low is a forecast 2 C with periods of rain.

For Thursday, the outlook is cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers, a high of 15 C and a low of 6 C.
